Exchange and refund conditions

Clear and simple

The majority of TGV Lyria tickets are exchangeable and refundable in accordance with the conditions of the fare you have chosen.

To obtain a refund:

> Provided the conditions associated with your fare allow it, you have up to two months (date to date) to obtain a refund or exchange your ticket.
An exchange or refund can be obtained from the place of purchase :

In France

in SNCF stations,
SNCF offices and approved travel agencies.

In Switzerland

in CFF stations and approved travel agencies.

Please do not forget to attach your original tickets when requesting a refund or compensation. Also, if you can provide your phone number and indicate a time when you will be available to speak, this will help with processing your request and will reduce the response time!

Good to know

All requests for exchange or refund of TGV Lyria tickets in Switzerland incur a fee of 5 CHF per person and per booking, except in the following cases:
- cancellation of a TGV Lyria train, strike etc.
- upgrade of class and fare
- TGV Lyria tickets where a deduction in refund is already indicated (for example a Normal Adult fare after departure of the TGV Lyria train)
