Discover the Valais region

Want to get away from it all? Need to recharge your batteries and top up your energy levels? Why not visit Valais, a delightful region set between mountains and lakes, and discover the abundance of pastimes it has to offer young and old alike – from sport and culture to pure relaxation.

At the heart of the Alps...

Valais is in the south-west of Switzerland between Lake Geneva and the Rhône Glacier where breathtaking scenery, from the Dents du Midi mountain range to the Matterhorn, awaits you!
All this under the particularly balmy warmth of the Valais sun. A walker’s paradise, Valais has 47 peaks over 4,000 metres high; with footpaths and a series of irrigation channels that stretch as far as the eye can see, these are perfect for a family hike.
