There is a wide variety of ways to buy your TGV Lyria tickets.

You can make reservations to travel on TGV Lyria trains up to 3 months before your travel date. To take advantage of the best fares, always try to buy your ticket as early as possible.
When buying your TGV Lyria tickets, check what exchange and refund conditions apply. Your fare type will be clearly stated on your ticket.
Options for reserving and buying tickets
From France
You can reserve and buy TGV Lyria tickets :

- in SNCF approved travel agencies
- over the phone by calling 36 35. Once you are connected, say “billet” (“ticket”) or press 3 (€0.34/min incl. taxes).
This telephone service is available 7 days a week from 7am to 10pm and also provides information about train running, timetables and services.
- from www.voyages-sncf.com (the following payment cards are accepted: Carte Bleue, MasterCard, Visa, American Express, Cofinoga card).
Good to know
For reservations and purchases made over the Internet, you can either :
- have your tickets delivered free of charge to an address of your choice. In this case, ensure you book at least 4 days (excluding Sundays and bank holidays) prior to your departure date if you live in France or 7 days in advance if you live outside France.
or
- collect your tickets from an SNCF station or office. In this case, you will need your online booking references together with the bank card used to make the payment/reservation.
From Switzerland
You can reserve and buy tickets:

- in stations in Switzerland
- in approved travel agencies
- over the phone by calling the 24h Rail Service on 0900 300 300 (1.19 CHF/min).
- in the SNCF office in Geneva
- from www.sbb.ch
- from www.tgv-europe.ch
Please allow 7 to 10 days for delivery of tickets ordered from www.tgv-europe.ch. These tickets cannot be collected from a station.
If you are unable to wait this long for delivery or you wish to collect your tickets from a station, you must order your tickets from www.tgv-lyria.com or www.sbb.ch , or order over the phone by calling Rail Service.
If the TGV Lyria tickets you booked on the www.tgv-europe.ch website do not reach you in time, please proceed as follows:
- Buy new train tickets.
- Get the ticket inspector on board the train to add your full name to the new tickets you have bought.
- Go to an SNCF ticket desk at your destination station in France and ask for the “Après-vente Voyageurs/Envoi à domicile” (Passenger after-sales service/Send to home address) form.
You must quote your 6-character booking reference and present a proof of identity (mandatory), together with the bank card used to pay online when making your reservation on www.tgv-europe.ch. The initial amount you paid on www.tgv-europe.ch will be refunded.

Payment will be taken from your bank card in EUROS at the price indicated on the invoice template. If you have a Swiss-issued bank card, for example, your bank will determine the exchange rate and add a percentage for processing. This extra charge may be up to around 5% of the guide price.

The following payment cards are accepted on www.tgv-europe.com: Eurocard, MasterCard and Visa payment cards issued abroad.
Please note: if you pay online by American Express or using a card issued abroad without a chip (€1,500 limit), you will only be able to collect your train tickets from ticket offices, not from the self-service ticket machines.
