Family Area: giving your children the freedom to play
Before you travel, you might want to think about booking a Family Area (Espace Famille). Located in 2nd class, non-smoking carriages, this area offers 4 seats facing one another and is separated from the rest of the carriage by a glass partition. The folding seats and table allow you to free up space for storing a pushchair.

There is a Nursery near the Family Areas. It is easy to locate – just look for the symbol – and is equipped with a changing table and bottle warmer.

Good to know
TGV Lyria offers great fares for family travel:
- Famille plus (Family plus) for families of 1 or 2 adults with one child under 12 years old (2nd class only),
- Baby pass for children under 4 years old,
- Normal enfant (Normal child) for children between 4 and 11 years old
- Jeune (Young persons) for young travellers between 12 and 25 years of age.
