Taxi reservations: an efficient and free service
International 1st class passengers on TGV Lyria trains can take advantage of the “Taxis Réservés” (Reserved Taxis) service to order a taxi and have it waiting for them upon their arrival at Paris Gare de Lyon or Paris Gare de l'Est (service available every weekday; not available on the TGV 9274 and TGV 6588 Sunday services).
To order a taxi, just advise the TGV Lyria ticket inspector who will make the reservation for you and provide you with a confirmation slip. On arrival at your destination, you should go to the “Taxis Réservés” (Reserved Taxis) reception area where your driver will be waiting for you. This taxi reservation service is free. Passengers are responsible for settling their taxi fares directly with the driver (fare will include distance travelled by the driver to collect the passenger at the station).
With RailTaxi, your taxi will be waiting for you when you arrive in Switzerland. To reserve a taxi using this service, just call this freephone number*: (+ 41) (0) 800 44 22 66 (24 hours a day).
The RailTaxi meeting point is located in the centre of the station. RailTaxi has bases in 31 cities and districts in Switzerland. This group of local taxi companies provides a high-quality transport service guaranteeing official fares.
