To welcome you on board 1st class carriages, TGV Lyria offers you a complimentary refreshment at your seat. Our staff will serve you a cold soft drink to make your journey even more enjoyable.
Free daily press: news from around the world at your fingertips
A large selection of magazines as well as Swiss, French and International daily newspapers, are available free of charge, in at least 3 languages. A genuine newsstand is accessible on board!
At-seat restaurant service: enjoy a variety of menus without leaving your seat
Enjoy a tasty break while remaining comfortably in your seat. An at-seat restaurant service is available*. Whether it is for breakfast, lunch or dinner: savor an authentic meal and admire the beautiful landscapes during your journey.
TGV Lyria invites you to discover throughout the day, its new menu compromising fresh and quality seasonal products.
- A healthy breakfast for less than: 10€ / CHF 15.-
(Including a hot drink, bread, croissant, butter, jam, a yogurt and an orange juice)
- A three course meal for less than: 23€ / CHF37.-
(Including a starter, a main course, a dessert, mineral water and coffee)
*There is a charge for this service in addition to the price of the TGV Lyria ticket.

How to book / pay for your meal?
Several solutions are possible:
Book and pay on-line your seated restaurant service in 1st class and benefit from a 10% reduction*.

When departing from France, you can pay for your meal when buying your TGV Lyria ticket at your SNCF train station. You will then get a 10% reduction on the price of your meal.
When departing from Switzerland, you can book your meal when buying your TGV Lyria ticket at your CFF train station. The payment will take place on board, on the day you are travelling.
You can also purchase your meal once on board the train. On board payment must be made in cash (Euros or CHF), by cheque payable in France and upon presentation of an official document bearing your photograph to prove your identity, by French “Tickets Restaurants ®” (restaurant vouchers) or by French bank cards with a chip and a CB logo. Foreign bank cards with VISA, MasterCard or American Express logos are also accepted.
* Service fees not included.
Power supply: convenient and practical
In 1st class carriages, you have access to 220 V power sockets* so you can plug in your laptop or recharge your mobile phone.

Taxi reservations: an efficient and free service
International 1st class passengers on TGV Lyria trains can take advantage of a free service to order a taxi and have it waiting for them upon their arrival at Paris Gare de Lyon or Paris Gare de l'Est *.
To order a taxi, just advise the TGV Lyria ticket inspector who will make the reservation for you and provide you with a confirmation slip. On arrival at your destination, go to the “Taxis Réservés” (Reserved Taxis) reception area where your driver will be waiting for you. Passengers are responsible for settling their taxi fare (which will include the distance travelled by the driver to collect the passenger at the station) and any additional fee (due to voluminous luggage for instance) directly with the driver.
* Service available every weekday; not available on the TGV Lyria 9274 and TGV Lyria 6588 Sunday services.
With RailTaxi, your taxi will be waiting for you when you arrive in Switzerland. The RailTaxi meeting point is located in the centre of the station.

New, from December 12th 2010
Lyriapremière will be an entirely new service available for 1st class passengers travelling between Paris and Switzerland.
This service has been developed to make your journey as pleasant as possible. For your convenience, new services will be included in the price of your train ticket:
- A large selection of magazines as well as Swiss, French and International daily newspapers, will be available free of charge, in at least 3 languages.
- A cold restaurant service will be available at your seat, throughout the day
- Our staff will ensure that you experience a pleasant journey tailored to your needs.
Lyriapremière will be launched:
- In December 2010: on the Paris <> Geneva, Paris <> Lausanne and Paris <> Neuchâtel / Bern routes
- In December 2011: on the Paris <> Basel / Zurich route
