Works affecting TGV Lyria services in 2026

Last update: 04/09/2026

➡️ Route Paris <> Geneva <> Lausanne

Throughout 2026 and until 4 April 2027: TGV Lyria trains operating on the  Paris ↔  Geneva via Lausanne route will continue to run between Paris ↔ Geneva , but will no longer serve Lausanne.

Passengers departing from or arring in Lausanne are advised to take an SBB train between Geneva ↔  Lausanne.

➡️ Route Paris <> Lausanne via Vallorbe

From 10 to 25 October 2026, due to works in the Mont-d’Or tunnel, some direct trains between Paris and Lausanne via Vallorbe will be cancelled, while others will terminate at Frasne.

To reach Lausanne, affected customers are invited to take a TGV Lyria Paris <> Geneva, then continue their journey with a connecting CFF train from Geneva.

Please note: for trains terminating at Frasne, a replacement bus service will operate between Frasne and Vallorbe at the beginning and end of the day.

➡️ Route Paris <> Basel / Zurich

Until early 2027, selected TGV Lyria trains will operate on this route with amended timetables: altered stops, longer journey times, and earlier or later departures and arrivals at Basel SBB and Zurich HB.

On 14 and 15 November 2026, engineering works are planned between Basel SBB and Paris, resulting in a temporary interruption to TGV Lyria services between Basel and Paris.
