  • How many TGV Lyria services are there to Paris?

    There are six return services a day, Monday to Sunday, between Zurich and Paris, which also stop in Basel. Trains depart every 2 hours from Basel SBB station. This page displays all our train timetables.

  • How long does it take to get from Basel to Paris by train?

    The journey takes around 3 hours. The TGV Lyria covers the 600 km between Paris and Basel at a top speed of 320 km/h.

  • How much does a Basel–Paris ticket cost?

    On the Basel–Paris services, you have a choice of three classes: BUSINESS 1ERE, STANDARD 1ERE and STANDARD. Single tickets in STANDARD class are available from TGV Lyria from EUR 49 / CHF 49 all year round.

  • What cities does the service call at?

    En route to Paris the TGV Lyria service calls at Mulhouse and Dijon or Belfort-Montbéliard TGV station, depending on the time of day.
