What is Le Table?

La Table is a unique on-board menu. And both French AND Swiss dishes are served. After all, the journey continues on the plate, too. Taste the very best from our two countries with La Table. Our menu has been reinvented with the art of eating well in mind. French excellence paired with Swiss prestige and rigour. And it’s created by Michel Roth and Danny Khezzar!

A taste for fine wines with Antoine Petrus

It is surely no coincidence that he shares his name with a well-known wine. Holder of the dual Meilleur Ouvrier de France title for Sommellerie and Head waiter, Antoine Petrus brings you a high-speed tasting experience that will complement each of your dishes to perfection. This food and wine pairing will take you on a journey through the culinary heritage of our two countries.

From garden to cup with Chloé Foglierini

To round off your meal, choose your tea from the La Fleur Nue collection. This French house of exceptional teas and infusions has brought on board its rare organic flowers grown in the finest gardens in France and Switzerland.

Our favourite recipes

  • Polenta with candied fruits (fig, apricot, and prunes), hazelnut shortbread crumble, orange and carrot juice, roasted Brussels sprouts
  • Winter vegetable caponata (parsnip, green cabbage, pumpkin, carrot, capers, red onions)
  • Roasted chicken fillet, creamy tarragon jus, Parmesan mashed potatoes, fresh herb pesto with Swiss Emmental, and caramelized walnuts
  • Venison stew with juniper berries, Swiss chard with orange zest and hibiscus-infused pear
  • St Florentin and Morbier cheese, carrot chutney and butter
  • Lemon meringue tart

Did you know? Our wine list has been curated by Antoine Pétrus. After all, we want to work with sommeliers who share our vision of wine. We’re on the lookout for those special gems that will delight the palate. We carefully select and taste authentic wines from passionate winemakers. We’ve designed a wine list that reflects who we are, so you’ll find a selection of French wines as well as Swiss ones.

  • Good morning, it’s time for breakfast: served on trains between 6 am and 9:40 am
  • Psst. Fancy some lunch?: served on trains between 9:40 am and 12:30 pm
  • Feeling peckish? Long live the snack!: served on trains between 12:30 pm and 5:30 pm
  • Relax over dinner: served on trains between 5:30 pm and 8:30 pm

Our catering service is available Monday to Friday and from lunchtime on Sunday!
