General Sales Terms & Conditions
The website TGV-lyria.com allows you to exchange your LYRIA FLEX or LYRIA SEMI FLEX e-ticket for another 1st or 2nd class ticket:
1. For the LYRIA FLEX e-ticket: on TGV-lyria.com, the exchange of the ticket is possible if the price of the new ticket is identical or higher than the initial booking:
- Ticket that is exchangeable and refundable with no extra fee before departure:
- Ticket that is exchangeable and refundable after departure under certain conditions:
- Exchangeable ticket with no extra fee up until 1 hour after departure on voyages-sncf.mobi, via “V.” mobile apps, available for iPhone, iPad, on Android and BlackBerry mobile devices or by telephone on +33 (0) 892 35 35 35 (€0.40/min not including additional costs that may be applied by your operator, number accessible from abroad)
- Exchangeable and refundable ticket with no extra fee (same conditions as before departure) up until 2 hours after departure, only in a departure train station in France
- Ticket non-exchangeable and non-refundable after the 2-hour period.
Passengers with a Lyria Flex tariff are also able to board the TGV Lyria train immediately before or after the one indicated on the booking on the same day (with no guarantee of a seat)
LYRIAPREMIERE Service: Included in the price of the 1st class ticket (whatever the chosen tariff) for passengers travelling between Paris/Dijon and Switzerland + depending upon time of departure, breakfast, lunch, snack or dinner served at your seat (cold meal) + taxi booking via the train conductor to facilitate arrival at Paris Gare de Lyon and Marseille. Course and arrival journey to be settled with the taxi driver. + free international newspapers and byLyria magazine + electric plug sockets by your seat + dedicated staff throughout your journey
2. For the LYRIA SEMI FLEX e-ticket: on TGV-lyria.com, the exchange of the ticket is possible up until train departure if the price of the new ticket is identical or higher than the initial booking. An exchange fee of €20 will be withheld:
- Ticket non-exchangeable and non-refundable after departure.
Cancellation is possible up until time of departure (except for non-refundable tickets) and applies to all passengers included in the booking. Passengers have a 2-month period in which to finalise their refund (if tariff-based conditions comply) by contacting the issuers sales outlet, along with the booking reference.
Should the booking include a return journey and only one of the routes is cancelled, the passenger cannot modify the other route as long as the refund for the cancelled route is not finalised. An admin fee may be charged depending on your ticket price and sales outlet.
These General Terms apply as from 24 April 2008. The Lyria tgv-lyria.com website, operated by Lyria SAS, (RCS Paris B 428 678 627) has been duly declared to the CNIL under number 1049318.
Article 1. Definitions and scope of application
For easier reading, the definitions below are set out in alphabetical order. "Administrator" means the person responsible for website management, in the name and on behalf of Lyria SAS. "Partner" refers to any supplier of Lyria SAS. The term "Partner" most notably includes SNCF and CFF as suppliers of train tickets and providers of the corresponding rail services. "Product" refers to train tickets sold by the Partners and other services sold by non-rail partners. "You" or "the User" refers to any person using the "Place your order" section of the website to book, order and/or purchase any rail Product offered by Oui.sncf, cff.com and/or tgv-europe.com, or any other non-rail product.
1.2. Scope of application
Article 2. Use of the www.tgv-lyria.com website
The main purpose of the Website is to inform Users about TGV Lyria and to facilitate Users' searches for Products, so that they are then able to make the right booking or any other transaction directly with the Partners.
Any fraudulent use or use which breaches the General Terms may lead to Lyria SAS's refusal to grant You access of the services offered on the Website.
Searching for Products and placing Orders
The Website may be used, if You so wish, for easier searching for timetables and seats available in trains departing from and arriving in the cities listed on the Website, at the dates and times You indicate. Once you have indicated the cities of departure and arrival, the dates and times of departure, return, booking class (first or second class), the number and type of passenger(s) and have clicked on "Book...", You will be automatically redirected to the website of the corresponding Partner (SNCF or CFF), depending on the place indicated for collection of tickets - France, Switzerland or other country. From then on, You can consult train times on the Partners' Website and place your order for tickets.
The conditions for placing orders, paying, delivery, modification or cancellation of orders are the sole responsibility of the Partners, insofar as the orders are placed directly on their websites.
Lyria SAS shall not be liable for the Products ordered and/or purchased on Partner Websites or the corresponding rail and non-rail services. Complaints about the quality of services provided on-board TGV Lyria by the Partners or their service providers should be sent to Lyria SAS by email at email@example.com or by post to the following address : Lyria SAS, 25 rue Titon, 75011 Paris (France). Lyria SAS will then pass on these complains to the Partner or service provider concerned. However, Lyria SAS shall not, under any circumstances, be liable for the poor quality of service provided by the Partners or any loss or incident of any kind occurring within this framework.
Article 3. Intellectual property
Lyria SAS holds all intellectual property rights concerning the Website. Access to the Website does not confer upon Users any entitlement to the intellectual property rights concerning the Website, which remain the exclusive property of Lyria SAS. The elements accessible on the Website, in particular in the form of texts, photographs, images, icons, maps, sounds, videos, software, databases and data, are also protected by intellectual and industrial property rights and other proprietary rights held by Lyria SAS. Unless stipulated to the contrary in these General Terms, you may not in any case reproduce, represent, modify, transmit, publish, adapt, on any medium whatsoever, by any means whatsoever, or exploit in any manner whatsoever, all or part of the Website without prior written authorisation from Lyria SAS. This prohibition, in particular but not exclusively, covers practices such as scrapping or the use of robots for the extraction or reproduction of any element on the Website.
Lyria SAS shall not be liable for the Products ordered and/or purchased on Partner Websites or the corresponding rail and non-rail services. Article 4. Liabilities and warranties for use of the Website
Lyria SAS does not warrant that the Website will be free of discrepancies, errors or bugs, nor that these can be corrected, nor that the Website will operate without interruption and breakdowns, or that it is compatible with any specific hardware or configuration other than those expressly specified by Lyria SAS. Lyria SAS is in no case liable for malfunctions attributable to third party software, whether this is incorporated or not into the Website or supplied with it. Under no circumstances can Lyria SAS be liable for any type of predictable or unpredictable damage resulting from the use, or total or partial impossibility of using the Website. Finally, as Lyria SAS cannot control all websites, in particular Partner websites, to which it is linked by hypertext links, which exist only to facilitate User searches, Lyria SAS is in no case liable for their content. The User represents that they are aware of the characteristics and limitations of the internet, in particular its technicalperformances, response times to consult, query or transfer data, and the risks linked to the security of communications.
Article 5. Data protection and privacy
The Lyria tgv-lyria.com website, operated by Lyria SAS, has been duly declared to the CNIL under number: 1049318.
Article 6. Applicable law
These General Terms are subject to French law. Where amicable settlement cannot be reached, disputes concerning their interpretation and/or performance shall be under the competence of the French courts Any complaint concerning the quality of products or services provided by service providers shall be the sole liability of the latter. They alone can be taken to court.
Article 7. Final provisions
The fact that Lyria SAS fails, at any time, to exercise one of the provisions of these General Terms may not be interpreted as a waiver of the right by Lyria SAS to rely on it subsequently. If one of the provisions of the General Terms is declared invalid or without effect, it shall be deemed not to be written, and this shall not affect the validity of the other provisions, unless the provision declared invalid or without effect is essential and determining.
It is specified that Lyria SAS and its Partners are separate companies, with their own autonomy and independence. None of these General Terms may be interpreted as creating a de facto company or joint undertaking between Lyria SAS and its Partners.

Use of data
The information which You provide on the website www.tgv-lyria.com (the "Website" or "Lyria SAS Website") is used to process your requests. Pursuant to Article 32 of the French data protection act of 6 January 1978, information which is essential for Lyria SAS to process requests is marked with an asterisk on the Website.
Other, optional, information requested is designed to improve understanding of User needs and so improve the services offered, while protecting User security.
Pursuant to the French data protection act, we offer site web users who no longer wish to receive these communications the option to unsubscribe with a single click.
Insofar as the website tgv-lyria.com is an informative website, the purchase of rail products takes place directly on partner websites, namely oui.sncf, tgv-europe.com or cff.com; likewise the purchase of non-rail products takes place directly on non-rail partner websites. As such, the latter are likely to send you, by post and by e-mail, information on their respective websites and how to use them, details on special offers for their rail products and non-rail product offers. Lyria SAS is not in any case liable for the processing of your data on those websites. Therefore, if you wish to refuse the processing of your personal data on those websites, it is down to you to exercise that right with the administrators of the websites in question.
Right of refusal
Pursuant to the French data protection act, you have a right of refusal which you may exercise by sending an email to: email@example.com.
Right to access, modify and delete
Pursuant to the French data protection act, you have a right to access, modify, correct and delete any of your personal information (articles 38 to 40 of the French data protection act of 6 January 1978). To exercise this right, send an email to : firstname.lastname@example.org.
Communications from the Lyria SAS Website
Users may receive communications from the Website in the following cases :
Submission of customer and/or agency complaints and questions/suggestions : Lyria replies to web users by email.
Email campaigns: via the Website, especially after signing up for games or competitions, Users may be offered additional email communication in the form of commercial emails. These emails will offer Users who voluntarily signed up and therefore gave their permission occasional special offers from partners of Lyria SAS.
Protection of information provided
With respect for the trust of users who connect to the Website, Lyria SAS is careful to protect the information which it receives. In order to ensure data security, it has put in place a programme to protect data stored in its systems.
When searching for a product, Users may access the sites of partners, most notably Oui.sncf, or tgv-europe.com, with a single click. These websites are not governed by these data protection rules. Users are therefore advised to acquaint themselves with the rules applying to the use and disclosure of information which they communicate to these sites.

General conditions of use for the TGV Lyria application
Article 1 General provisions
SNCF and CFF jointly operate the TGV Lyria international rail transport service for passengers between France and Switzerland.
The TGV Lyria mobile application was developed by Lyria, a subsidiary of SNCF and CFF, with a view to facilitating journeys between France and Switzerland.
As a user of the application, you agree to be bound by these Conditions of Use.
Article 2 Definitions
Application: TGV Lyria mobile Application developed by Lyria.
CFF: Swiss public limited company with headquarters at 6, Hochschulstrasse, 3000 Berne 65, Switzerland, registered with the Bern-Mittelland Trade Register under the number CH-035.8.021.438-9.
Lyria: French simplified limited liability company with capital of 80,000 EUR, registered at the Trade and Companies Register in Paris under the number B 428 678 627, with headquarters situated at 25 rue Titon, 75011 Paris - France.
Profile: Profile created by the User of the Application in order to be able to benefit from all of the Application's features as indicated below.
SNCF: French public industrial and commercial institution with headquarters at 34, rue du Commandant Mouchotte, 75014 Paris - France, registered at the Trade and Companies Register in Paris under the number 552 049 447.
User: Any person who uses the Application's features and, where applicable, creates a Profile.
Push Notifications: alerts which inform the User by way of a text message.
Article 3 Description of the Application
To access the TGV Lyria Application, it must be downloaded from the iOS (AppStore) and Android (Google Play Store) application download platforms via a mobile telephone. The TGV Lyria Application was developed for the following mobile telephones and operating systems:
iPhone 4, 4S, 5, 5S, 5C, 6, 6+ et iPod Touch 4, 7.0 à 8.0
Smartphone Android 3.0 à 4.4
The Application allows Users who have not created a profile to:
- consult TGV Lyria train timetables;
- reserve a taxi upon stations where this service is available
- consult TGV Lyria news, offers, and information concerning TGV Lyria destinations.
The Application also allows Users who have created a profile to:
- consult certain information connected with their TGV Lyria journeys provided that they have bought their tickets at an SNCF or CFF point of sale;
- display TGV Lyria dematerialised tickets (displayed in the form of QR codes) bought at a SNCF point of sale and dematerialised tickets bought with a Voyageur Card (SNCF loyalty program);
- exchange TGV Lyria Flex e-tickets bought at a SNCF point of sale;
- cancel TGV Lyria tickets (except Non-Flex tickets) before departure (refund needs to be finalised at initial point of sale);
- consult TGV Lyria news, TGV Lyria offers, and information concerning TGV Lyria destinations.
You only need to create a Profile if you wish to benefit from the features identified above.
Article 4 Push notifications
The User is able to choose whether or not to receive Push notifications.
Push notifications are as follows:
- number/letter of the train departure platform (traffic information within France)
- traffic information (traffic information within France)
Users will only receive Push notifications if they have activated the option in their mobile phone.
Push parameters can be modified throughout use of the Application through the telephone settings.
Article 5 Creation of customer Profile
5.1 The benefits of creating a customer Profile
With your Profile, you have access to the TGV Lyria Application's features relating to journey management (import, exchange, cancellation).
5.2 The procedure for creating your Profile and the data collected
5.2.1 When connecting to the Application, you can create your Profile from the "Create your Profile" tab. To do this, you must provide the following information (mandatory information):
- first name,
- email address,
- country of residence (France/Switzerland/other).
Furthermore, you have the option to provide the following information (optional information):
- date of birth,
- telephone number.
5.2.2 If you wish to receive information about TGV Lyria (information about promotions and offers, Lyria news, etc.) by email, post or telephone, you can tick the "I would like to receive information from TGV Lyria" box and finish creating your Profile by clicking on the "Create your Profile" tab.
5.2.3 If you do not wish to receive information, you should leave this box unticked and click on "Create your Profile"
With regard to customer Profiles, you may not use the same Profile on more than one mobile telephone.
5.2.4 The creation of your customer Profile entails you:
- agreeing to be bound by these General Conditions of Use for the Application,
- acknowledging that you are aware of the rules relating to the processing of personal data.
5.2.5 Confirmation that you have created a Profile is sent to the email address you provided.
5.3 Activation of your Profile
The customer Profile must be activated in order to have access to the parameters listed in article 4.1.
You can activate your customer Profile at any time by clicking on the link provided for this purpose in the email sent to you. Your Profile is shown as "Awaiting activation" in the TGV Lyria Application. When returning to the Application, your profile is either updated automatically, or you need to push the "Update" button at the bottom of the Profile page.
5.4 Modification of the Profile
You can modify and/or cancel the information in your Profile at any time and click on the "Update" button to register it.
You can change your mind at any time and decide not to receive TGV Lyria information by unticking the "I would like to receive information from TGV Lyria" box from your Profile.
5.5 Deletion of the Profile
You can delete your Profile at any time by making a request to the following address: email@example.com.
5.6 Features linked to User journeys
The TGV Lyria Application allows you to exchange/cancel a TGV Lyria train ticket in accordance with the exchange/cancellation conditions of your fare and according to your point of sale/type of ticket.
You can use the TGV Lyria Application to exchange Lyria Flex e-tickets (and equivalent fares) bought at a SNCF point of sale or an approved SNCF agency until one (1) hour after departure of the train. By exchanging your journey, you benefit of a seat on the new selected train. To exchange your journey, you need to click on the "Exchange" button, select a new train (choice of train subject to seat availability) and confirm the exchange of journey for all passengers. You will receive a confirmation email with details of the new journey sent to the address given in the customer Profile.
You can cancel your journey using the TGV Lyria Application before departure of the train (all types of ticket, all fares except non-refundable fares) to benefit from pre-departure conditions for your refund. You cancel your journey by clicking on the "Cancel" button and confirming cancellation of the journey for all passengers. You will receive a confirmation email sent to the address given in your customer Profile. You have up to two (2) months to finalise your refund (if the fare conditions allow it) by contacting your initial point of sale, with your booking reference to hand. Depending on your fare and point of sale, a fee may be applied. If you have booked a return trip and you cancel one of the legs, you can no longer modify the other leg until refund for the cancelled journey has been finalised.
Article 6 Protection of data
SNCF is responsible for the processing of all personal data collected via the Application. Lyria carries out the processing of personal data collected via the Application.
Pursuant to law 78-17 of 6 January 1978 relating to civil liberties and the electronic storage and retrieval of information, SNCF has made a declaration to the National Commission for Information Technology and Civil Liberties ("CNIL") relating to the collection and processing of personal data pertaining to Users.
All Users have, on the one hand, a right of access, rectification or deletion of information concerning them and, on the other hand, a right to oppose in matters concerning their personal data. These rights may be exercised by post by writing to the following address: firstname.lastname@example.org.
Your personal data will be used for:
- providing you with traffic information on journeys imported into your Profile
- tracking your orders in the event of exchange/cancellation of the TGV Lyria ticket imported into your Profile;
- any commercial solicitations (newsletters, surveys, information about TGV Lyria commercial news etc.);
- any statistical studies or marketing analyses.
The data registered on your Profile will be automatically deleted after being kept for 5 years.
Moreover, the following data is collected from all Users when they consult train timetables: the departure times, arrival times, and dates of the TGV Lyria trains that have been looked up.
Similarly, when the features linked to the User's journeys are used, the following data is collected in addition to those identified in 4.2: the origin/destination, the date of the operation, the class, the fare, the date of the journey, the number of passengers, the timetable and number of the train, and the booking reference.
Article 7 Intellectual property
All trademarks and/or copyrights in the Application are the property of Lyria and/or SNCF. Any reproduction or use of any kind is prohibited without prior written authorization.
7.2 Use of the Application by the User
The Application is currently offered free of charge for your personal non-commercial use.
Under these Conditions of Use, you have a license to use the Application for personal use and in accordance with the Conditions of Use; this license is revocable, free-of-charge, non-exclusive and has worldwide validity.
You may not allow third parties on your behalf to, (i) have distributed or distribute copies of the Application, (ii) attempt to copy, reproduce, change, modify, reverse engineer, strip down, disassemble, transfer, exchange or translate the Application; or (iii) create derivatives of the Application in any way whatsoever.
7.3 Modification of the Application
Lyria reserves the right to modify or withdraw the Application, or to require payment for the use of all or part of the Application, at any time and for whatever reason.
Article 8 Availability
This Application is offered for mobile handsets using Apple iOS and Android operating systems. Lyria, via its service providers responsible for realization and maintenance of this Application, will make every reasonable effort to ensure that the Application is available at all times.
However, you acknowledge that the Application is provided by means of the internet and mobile networks and, as a result, that factors beyond the reasonable control of Lyria may have an effect on the quality and availability of the Application.
Lyria, SNCF and CFF are not responsible in the event of the Application being unavailable or for any difficulty or inability to download or access the content or any other failure of the communication system which could render the Application unavailable.
Lyria, SNCF and CFF shall not be responsible for assistance or maintenance in respect of the Application
Article 9 Configuration required
To use the Application, you must have a compatible telephone or mobile handset, access to the internet and the following required configuration:
- iPhone 4, 4S, 5, 5S, 5C, 6, 6+ et iPod Touch 4 - OS 7.0 à 8.0
- Smartphone Android - OS 3.0 à 4.4
Article 10 Limitation of liability
Under no circumstances shall Lyria, SNCF and CFF be held liable for losses or direct, indirect, special, punitive, exemplary or immaterial damages of any kind whatsoever resulting from your use of the Application or your access to the Application, including loss of profit or similar, whether they could have foreseen it or not.
Lyria, SNCF and CFF shall not be liable for damage or alterations to your equipment, including but not limited to computer equipment, mobile handsets or mobile telephones following installation or use of the Application.
Users must check the conditions of the contract, in particular the financial aspects, with their mobile telephone operator for downloading and use of the Application on the mobile telephone or mobile handset used. It is possible that your mobile telephone operator may make you pay for access to network connection services for the duration of the connection while you are accessing the Application or that third party charges for this may accrue. You accept responsibility for such charges.
If you are not the bill payer for the mobile telephone or mobile handset used to access the Application, it is your responsibility to obtain the permission of the bill payer to use the Application.
