  • How many TGV Lyria services are there per day to Basel?

    There are six return services a day, Monday to Sunday, on the Paris-Zurich route, which includes a stop at Basel. Apart from the first train of the day, departures are every 2 hours from Paris Gare de Lyon station. This page displays all our train timetables.

  • How long is the train journey from Paris to Basel?

    The journey takes around 3 hours. The TGV Lyria covers the 600 km between Basel and Paris at a top speed of 320 km/h.

  • How much does a Paris–Basel ticket cost?

    On the Paris–Basel service, you have a choice of three classes: BUSINESS 1ERE, STANDARD 1ERE and STANDARD. TGV Lyria offers single tickets in STANDARD class from CHF 49 / € 49 all year round. 

  • What cities does the service call at?

    En route to Basel TGV Lyria calls at Mulhouse and, depending on the time of day, Dijon or Belfort-Montbéliard TGV station. The service terminates at Zurich.
