Exchange & Refund of TGV Lyria tickets

If your fare conditions allow, you have up to two months (date to date) to apply for a refund or exchange your ticket.
The exchange or refund can be requested at the place where you bought your ticket.

Special Offer - Exchange for free and refund under conditions

We make it easier for you with our new offer : exchanges and refunds are free of charge for journeys until 11 May.

Tickets with partial flexibility, for international journeys from 12 May 2021, can be refunded with a cancellation fee of €30 / CHF 33.


Conditions of the offer

Until 11 May

  • Travel dates up to 11 May 2021, booked until 11 May 2021 inclusive.
  • The exchange and refund charge is €0 / CHF 0.
  • Offer valid for a ticket booked via SNCF and SBB channels.
  • Only valid for an exchange / refund requested prior to the train departure.
  • Exchange valid only on the same route and with TGV Lyria.

From 12 May

  • Travel dates from 12 May 2021, booked from 5 January 2021 inclusive.
  • Exchange charge: €0 / CHF 0 (except in the event of any difference in the fare).
  • Refund charge: €30 / CHF 33
  • Offer valid for a ticket with partial flexibility (changeable under conditions) booked via SNCF and SBB channels.
  • Only valid for an exchange / refund on an international route, requested prior to the train departure.
  • Exchange valid only on the same route and with TGV Lyria.

Sales and information at self-service machines, at stations, from SNCF shops, by telephone on 3635 (service at €0.40/min. + call costs), at OUI.sncf, at SNCF-approved travel agencies, at sbb.ch, at the ticket counter or from Rail Service on 0848 44 66 88 (CHF 0.08/min.).

How to exchange or get a refund for your tickets?

Exchange/Refund SNCF tickets

  • Online on OUI.sncf through the "My Bookings" tab
  • In SNCF stations / sales offices and approved travel agencies
  • By calling 36 35 (France) / open everyday from 7 am to 10 pm (free phone call, plus any fees charged by your service provider) / +33 (0) 1 84 94 36 35 (price of an international call, excluding any additional costs of your operator).

For a refund request after the planned date of travel, we kindly invite you to write to SNCF Customer Services via the website SNCF.com > "Contact us" > "Complaints" > Reason: "I have not used my ticket".

For paper tickets purchased on https://en.oui.sncf/en/  we kindly invite you to send your request within 60 days to the address below:

Lost or stolen tickets 

Under no circumstances can a refund or duplicate be provided for lost or stolen tickets.
