Basel train station Practical information

Opened in 1854 and completely rebuilt in 1907, Basel train station is the city’s largest station, ahead of Basel’s Badischer Bahnhof. For journeys to France, Basel train station has an annex called Bâle SNCF, which is served by its own tracks and is separated by a customs barrier. Are you arriving by car? We recommend the Centralbahnparking. Book via +41 (0)61 270 96 96. Paying. The parking of two-wheelers is permitted. Open 7 days a week, 24 hours a day.

Are you arriving by bike? At a stone's throw away from the platforms, 650 bikes can be parked awaiting their owners undercover and away from the elements.
